The mastery level. From here on, English isn’t the challenge — the stakes are.
If you’ve reached C1, you can already survive any meeting in English. This course is about the rooms where surviving isn’t enough: the negotiation where every adverb has a price, the board presentation decided in the corridor afterwards, the interview where tomorrow’s headline picks its verb from your answers. Eight modules, each built around a situation where language is the outcome:
Every module follows the same rhythm: an Overview 🧭, a Reading 📖 with its quiz, Vocabulary flashcards 🔤 (no easy words — nothing that looks like Italian), one or two grammar points 🧩 with graded exercises, Useful Language 🔑 with a full professional dialogue to listen to, a Writing Practice ✍️ corrected sentence by sentence by an AI coach, an authentic Podcast 🎧 — real speakers, real speed, from conference stages and professional channels, never simplified — a Roleplay 🗣️ with your counterpart, a Unit Review 📄 — revision notes to read on your phone or print — and a 30-question Module Quiz. At the end of the course: a final vocabulary review 🏁, a level quiz, and a speaking assignment assessed by our teaching team.
🎙️ Two ways to do your roleplays
In every roleplay you choose how to practise: Speak it — press Play, allow your microphone and talk out loud, and your partner answers with a real voice — or Write it, a written chat at your own pace. Same scenario, your choice.
Speaking out loud is the fastest way to get comfortable, so try the voice at least once. You will speak for real in the Final Speaking Assignment at the end of the course, where one of our teachers listens to you.
One honest warning. The podcasts in this course are genuinely authentic — real professionals, natural pace, no adjustments for learners. The first listen should feel slightly too fast. That’s not a bug; that’s the level. Use the transcript on the second pass, never the first.
Flag what you don’t know yet — that’s where a C1 still grows — and bring your real work into the roleplays: they are at their best when the negotiation is one you actually have next week. See you in Module 1. The coffee is being poured, and the other side has prepared.
