What your certificate says — and what it does not
Every LingoWise course ends with a real assessment: the final quizzes and a speaking assignment listened to and evaluated by a member of our teaching team. The certificate of completion you receive puts that work in writing, with your CEFR level.
And every certificate is issued with its own verification code: whoever receives it — a recruiter, your company's HR — can check its authenticity on our site in ten seconds.
Three things to know before you enrol
What it attests
That you completed a structured Business English path at the level shown: every module, the final quizzes passed, and a speaking assignment listened to and evaluated by one of our teachers. Not a prize for turning up — a verified path, with a person at the end of it.
What it is not
It is not a language certification: only recognised examination bodies issue those. It does not replace Cambridge, IELTS or Linguaskill and it is not valid where an accredited certification is required: visas, university admissions, public-sector competitions. If that is what you need, we will tell you — and help you work out which one fits.
Where you can use it
In most work situations nobody asks you for an accredited exam: you are asked to show that your English works and that you trained seriously. The LingoWise certificate does exactly that — it says you followed a complete path and that someone listened to your English and evaluated it.

Is the certificate recognised?
It is a certificate of completion issued by LingoWise, and we present it for what it is: it is not an accredited certification and we do not pass it off as one. Its value lies in how it is earned — quizzes passed and a speaking assignment evaluated by a teacher — and in the fact that anyone can verify it online with its code. For an interview, your CV or company training records it is exactly the document you need; for visas, universities and public competitions you need an accredited exam instead.
I am in HR or recruiting: how do I verify a certificate I received?
Every certificate carries its verification code. Enter it in the Certificate Checker: if the code is genuine you see confirmation that it was issued. Ten seconds, no sign-up.
What level does the certificate state?
The CEFR level of the path you completed, from A2 to C1. You do not start blind: the free Level Test places you at the right level before you begin, and the final certificate states the level of the course you finished.
I need an official certification (Cambridge, IELTS, Linguaskill): what do I do?
Book a call: we will tell you honestly which exam makes sense for your goal and how to get there prepared. A LingoWise path can be the way to build the level you then certify with the exam — but you sit the exam at the accredited body, not with us.
