English courses for companies in Milan and province
LingoWise designs and runs English courses for companies in Milan and across the province: online, with our on-demand Fluent at Work courses or with a teacher, or in person at your offices. Every programme starts from a real measurement of your people’s level and ends with a verifiable certificate.
They chose LingoWise for their teams

It starts with a needs analysis, free of charge
Before we talk about quotes we take stock, free of charge: we listen to the people who know the company and prepare a written programme proposal — a document that stays useful either way, even if the course never starts. At this stage we ask nothing of your employees: the team measurement only happens once the course begins.
Have your people already been tested, with Linguaskill or something else? Bring the results to the meeting: we help you understand what those scores actually say, and we start from there.
Needs interview
Who uses English in the company, at what level (an estimate is enough: we measure it at the start) and in which precise situation. For example: the sales manager, level B2, who leads the weekly meeting with sales reps in three countries; someone in logistics, level B1, who writes to foreign suppliers every day; the engineer, level A2+, who has to present a project on a call with a German client.
Written proposal
A unique path for each person, built on their profile: role, needs, interests and level. For example: for the B2 sales manager who loves Formula 1, meetings with their international team, feedback and closing decisions, plus practice conversations, with the AI Tutor or the teacher, about the weekend’s races; for someone in logistics at B1, emails to suppliers, reminders and negotiations over delivery times. Interests matter: people study more of what they enjoy. The proposal also covers hours, groups and funding options (training funds and welfare schemes).
Every path can be followed in two ways: on demand, with a teacher (one-to-one or in a small group of colleagues with a similar profile), or both.
Then, when you start: measuring the team
For every employee: an adaptive test, a short conversation with a teacher and an analysis of their specific needs — how they use English in their role, where they get stuck, what they actually need and which topics interest them. That way groups are formed on data, not on self-assessment, and the programme is tailored to the people. It is part of the purchased programme — before confirmation your employees are not involved at all.
One path, two ways to follow it
The path is the same, built on each person’s profile: what changes is how you follow it. Below you can see what it costs, what is included and what is not.
Fluent at Work
The starting point for most teams
€99 per person per level
A path of 35-40 hours per level, plus free practice with the AI Tutor and the Gym. A full CEFR level, for example from B1 to B2, takes two LingoWise levels: 70-80 hours of study.
- The path is built around each person’s profile: role, needs, chosen topics (levels from A2 to C1)
- A teacher confirms the level at the start and listens to the final speaking task
- 6 months of access, extendable: practice and roleplay with the AI Tutor and the Gym, certificate of completion
- For you: the Company Area with everyone’s progress and a monthly report
Let’s Talk Business
For people who need to speak, not just understand
from €700 per level · 20 live hours with the teacher
Twenty hours of real speaking: simulated meetings, calls and negotiations, with a teacher who listens, corrects on the spot and has you repeat until the sentence comes out naturally. Between lessons the practice continues on the platform: about 15 hours of assigned exercises per level, plus free practice with the AI Tutor and the Gym. It costs less in a group: with 4 people, €275 each.
- You speak from the first minute: roleplays of meetings, calls and negotiations, the situations of real work
- Feedback comes while you speak: pronunciation, tone, the phrases you were missing
- One-to-one or in a group of up to 5, on site at your company or online
- CELTA- or TEFL-certified teachers
- Two variants: Crash Course, an intensive 15–20 hours on a single topic for those in a hurry, and English for Careers, built around your sector and your team roles, online or at your offices
- For you: attendance lesson by lesson and the monthly report in the Company Area
Funded training and company welfare schemes
Many companies cover all or part of the cost of language training through Italian inter-professional training funds or their company welfare plan. LingoWise is listed as a provider on several welfare portals and works alongside you to prepare the paperwork the fund asks for: syllabus, total hours, attendance register and final certificates. Assessing and approving the plan of course remains with the fund or the welfare provider.
Which fund applies to you, what you still pay yourselves and what to ask your payroll consultant: it is all in our guide to inter-professional funds (in Italian).
If your company uses one of the welfare platforms below and the plan includes training, employees can spend their credit on our courses: the steps, platform by platform, are in our guide to company welfare (in Italian).

On-demand courses people actually finish
The weak spot of online training is drop-off: the course starts with enthusiasm, then busy weeks eat it up. The LingoWise platform is built to keep people on track all the way to the certificate:
Lessons, quizzes and daily workouts earn points: progress is visible and studying becomes a habit, not a chore.
A conversational tutor available 24/7 and writing exercises corrected on the spot by AI, between one lesson and the next.
Progress bars, end-of-module summaries and a verifiable final certificate: everyone knows where they stand.
Anyone who stalls gets an automatic reminder — and HR sees it on the dashboard below.
For decision-makers
What is in it for you
Your colleagues take the course. But whoever signs off the budget needs four other things, and here they are.
Every month a PDF with each person’s progress, hours and levels, ready to forward. And the dashboard is always open if you want to look sooner. Download a sample report (PDF in Italian, demo data)
No rooms to book, no schedules to juggle: online paths start whenever you like. If you need live lessons, we take care of groups and calendar.
A traffic light shows who has stalled and reminders go out automatically. At the end a teacher listens to each person’s speaking task: the certificate is issued only if the path has really been completed.
Fondimpresa, Fondirigenti or employees’ welfare credit: attendance, hours and certificates come out already in the format needed for reporting.

Six people, thirty hours each
A group of six professionals at Setflow, starting levels between B1+ and B2, with a precise goal: using English with more confidence in meetings, presentations and negotiations with international counterparts.
A Business English path with a teacher, online: about 30 hours per participant, spread over 5–6 months. All six completed the path, and towards the end they were handling discussions and questions in meetings on their own.
“We chose LingoWise for our team’s English: rare professionalism. My colleagues saw their progress grow week after week, and some practised in the evening on their own initiative. From the company dashboard I had everything under control, without asking anyone for reports.”
Frequently asked questions
How long does a corporate course last?
It depends which route you take. With a teacher it is 20 hours of lessons per LingoWise level (B1, then B1+, for example; two LingoWise levels make one CEFR level), plus about 15 hours of assigned exercises: 70-80 hours of study to move up a full CEFR level, from B1 to B2, plus free practice on the platform, over six to twelve months depending on the frequency you agree. On your own, each Fluent at Work course takes 35-40 hours of material and a full CEFR level is two courses, with the AI Tutor and the Gym included. There is also the Crash Course, short and focused on a single topic, finished in a few weeks.
How much does an English course for companies cost?
With a teacher (Let’s Talk Business), from €700 for 20 hours of lessons, one-to-one or in a small group. The on-demand course Fluent at Work costs €99 per level. Lessons cost less in a group: with 4 people, €275 each. For a group we prepare a written proposal after the free needs analysis, with the possible funding routes: training funds and company welfare schemes.
Where do the courses take place? Do you also come to our offices?
Online and on demand we work with companies all over Italy. In person we teach at companies in the metropolitan city of Milan (for example Milan, Sesto San Giovanni, Cinisello Balsamo, Rho, Bollate, Novate Milanese, Segrate, Pioltello, Cernusco sul Naviglio, Melzo and the Martesana area), in the province of Monza and Brianza (Monza, Vimercate, Agrate Brianza, Brugherio) and in the province of Bergamo (Bergamo, Treviglio, Dalmine).
How many people does it take to start a group?
Groups start at two people and go up to five at most: a size designed to give everyone speaking time in every lesson. For a single person we offer the one-to-one programme.
What if my employees are at very different levels?
That is the norm, not the exception — and it is exactly why we measure everyone at the start. We form groups of the same level, so nobody is bored and nobody is chasing; anyone with particular needs follows a one-to-one programme or an on-demand Fluent at Work.
How do you measure progress?
An initial assessment, periodic checks along the way and a final evaluation that includes an oral test with the teacher. The level reached is expressed on the CEFR scale.
Do you issue a certificate?
Yes, a certificate of completion with a unique code, verifiable online by anyone who receives the document. It is not an accredited exam like Cambridge or IELTS, but it is structured, verifiable evidence of the programme completed.
