Your first English for work. Small words, real situations, one step at a time.

This course is the first step of the Fluent at Work series. It is for you if your English is small — and your job needs it anyway. Here you learn to talk about your work, your office, your team and your day. Nothing difficult. Nothing you will never use.

Every text is short. Every sentence is short. The audio is slow and clear, made for your level. You do not need perfect English at work — you need simple English that works. That is what we build here, module by module.

📦 How each module works

Overview — what you will learn, in simple words.
Reading — a short text about one work situation.
Vocabulary — 8 flip-cards with audio. Tap, listen, repeat.
Grammar — small grammar points, explained simply, with practice.
Useful Language — ready phrases for real moments at work.
Writing Practice — you write a few sentences, and an AI coach corrects them and explains why. No grade — only help.
Podcast — a short, slow audio story or dialogue.
Roleplay — a roleplay with your counterpart. Easy and friendly.

🎙️ Two ways to do your roleplays

In every roleplay you choose how to practise: Speak it — press Play, allow your microphone and talk out loud, and your partner answers with a real voice — or Write it, a written chat at your own pace. Same scenario, your choice.

Speaking out loud is the fastest way to get comfortable, so try the voice at least once. You will speak for real in the Final Speaking Assignment at the end of the course, where one of our teachers listens to you.

Unit Review — the whole module on a few pages: grammar, words and phrases together. Read it on your phone, or print it.
Final Quiz — check what you remember (you need 70% to pass).

🤖 Your AI Tutor — how to use it ▸

Your AI Tutor is in every module. Use it for the roleplays, and ask it anything: a word, a sentence, “how do I say this in English?”. It always answers in very simple English.

It never gets tired and it never laughs at mistakes. Every mistake you make with the Tutor is one you will not make with your boss. 😉

🧠 Your Tutor remembers you ▸

The Tutor has a memory. Difficult words come back in your personalized review (🎯), and the Tutor remembers your conversations. Every practice starts from where you really are — never from zero.

At the end of the course, the Final Vocabulary Review tests exactly the words YOU need to repeat.

Your quizzes count too. Little by little, the course learns which topics are still difficult for you and which are now solid. Your Tutor uses this to choose what to practise with you. And in My progress you will find a short note with the one or two topics to go back to. No marks, no scores — just what helps you next.

🏋️ The Gym — your daily warm-up▸

Lessons teach you — the Gym keeps you in shape. It’s our training game with four quick modes: timed quiz, matching, sentence building and find-the-mistake (built on typical Italian errors), all tuned to your level. Five minutes a day is enough, and you earn LingoWise Points while you play. You’ll find it anytime in the top menu. Speak English like you mean it!
