ROLEPLAY
Tell Me About Your Day
Nina works two floors up and knows nothing about your job. Time to tell her.
🎭 Your scenario. You are in the lift with
Nina, a friendly person from another department. She is curious about your job. Chat with Nina below and try to:
- say what you do (“I work as… / I work in…”) — use your real job, or invent one;
- describe your day from start to finish, in order (“First I… then I…”);
- use at least two frequency words (“I always…”, “I usually…”, “I never…”);
- ask Nina two questions about her day (“What time do you start?”).
Use the phrases from Useful Language — write your replies to Nina in the chat.
This is your rehearsal: practise the conversation here as many times as you like. You will speak for real in the Final Speaking Assignment at the end of the course.
When you have practised enough and Nina has given you feedback, click “Complete & continue” to move on. There is no time limit — go a few rounds until it feels natural.
Your day is the story you know best. Tell it once here, and you can tell it anywhere. 💪
