🎭 Scenario
You want your manager to approve a new tool that would save the team time. Your manager is cautious about change and worried about cost. Try to persuade them — use suggestions, framing around their priorities, and the second conditional (“If we tried it, we’d probably see…”).
Try to use:
suggesting instead of stating · framing around their priority · second conditional · inviting agreement
This is your rehearsal: practise the conversation here as many times as you like. You will speak for real in the Final Speaking Assignment at the end of the course.
