Welcome to Fluent at Work — B2

Business English for people who already speak — and now want to lead, persuade and influence.

You are here because your English already works and you want it to do more: to sound strategic, win a negotiation, chair a room, pitch an idea, and stay calm under pressure. That is exactly what this course builds. Read this short page once — it explains how everything fits together — and then dive into Module 1.

🧭 How each module works

Every module is built around one real business theme and follows the same rhythm, so you always know where you are:

Overview & Goals → Reading → Quiz → Vocabulary → Grammar → Useful Language → Writing Practice → Podcast → Quiz → Grammar → Roleplay → Unit Review → Final Quiz.

🎙️ Two ways to do your roleplays

In every roleplay you choose how to practise: Speak it — press Play, allow your microphone and your partner opens the conversation out loud — you answer with your voice — or Write it, a written chat at your own pace. Same scenario, your choice.

Speaking out loud is the fastest way to get comfortable, so try the voice at least once. You will speak for real in the Final Speaking Assignment at the end of the course, where one of our teachers listens to you.

Grammar has its own short lessons in every module (an explanation plus practice G1–G4), built around the same topic; pronunciation and listening are trained inside the other steps. The Writing Practice is corrected by an AI coach in seconds: no grade, nothing to hand in. The Unit Review closes the module: revision notes to read on your phone or print. Each Final Quiz needs 70% to pass.

🤖 Meet your AI Tutor ▸

Every module ends with a roleplay with your counterpart. You can also open the tutor any time to ask anything — a word, a phrase, “is this too direct?” — and get instant feedback.

In the roleplays you choose: speak out loud or write. Either way, it is real practice in a safe space: you can get things wrong here so you get them right in the meeting.

🧠 How the course remembers you ▸

This course learns with you. The words you find difficult are quietly saved, and they come back in your flashcard review until you have mastered them. At the very end, a Final Vocabulary Review gathers every weak word from every module in one focused session.

Your AI Tutor shares that memory: it can reuse the words you are working on inside your next roleplay. Nothing is wasted.

Your quizzes count too. As you answer, the course quietly builds a picture of which topics are still shaky and which are solid — drawn from everything you have done, not from one bad day. Your AI Tutor uses it to know where to go easy and where to push, without you having to explain. And in My progress a short note tells you the one or two topics worth going back to. No scores, no ranking — just the next useful thing.

🏋️ The Gym — your daily warm-up▸

Lessons teach you — the Gym keeps you in shape. It’s our training game with four quick modes: timed quiz, matching, sentence building and find-the-mistake (built on typical Italian errors), all tuned to your level. Five minutes a day is enough, and you earn LingoWise Points while you play. You’ll find it anytime in the top menu. Speak English like you mean it!

🎯 By the end of B2, you will be able to:

  • communicate a clear vision and adapt it for any audience;
  • handle an advanced negotiation and close a deal;
  • chair a meeting and drive a group to a decision;
  • pitch an idea persuasively and handle tough questions;
  • sell consultatively and manage client relationships;
  • describe data, charts and financials clearly;
  • protect trust in a crisis; and
  • write persuasive proposals and business cases.

📅 How to study

Little and often beats long and rare. Do one or two steps a day, always say the phrases out loud, and do the roleplay even when it feels awkward — that is where the words stick.

🎓 Earn your B2 certificate. Complete all the modules, play The Supplier Game — nine decisions about a late supplier and a demanding customer, saying why in English at every move — then pass the final quiz and submit your final speaking assignment. Once one of our teachers approves it, you can download your official LingoWise B2 certificate for your CV or LinkedIn.

🔒 Your data & privacy. Your messages to the AI Tutor are processed to give you feedback, and your progress and weak words are saved to personalise your learning. You can ask us to delete your data any time. See our Privacy Policy or email hello@lingowise.co.

You do not need perfect English to lead — you need clear, confident English. Let’s get started with Module 1. 🚀
